Rettilee al-Qurān is an online platform providing 1-to-1 Qurān memorisation and tajweed classes. Our classes are taught by qualified Qurān tutors who take a 1-on-1 approach to teaching beginners and intermediate.
We provide a variety of classes, ranging from recognising the Arabic alphabet and completion of the Qurānic Qaida to more advanced students completing a khatma (memorisation) of the Qurān.
The Qurān is a world beyond our comprehension, and studying it is a journey that spans a lifetime. It is one that we need to balance alongside our careers and personal lives. As working professional women ourselves we want to share our journey with the Qurān with other muslimahs who lead busy lives preoccupied with work, studies, children or all combined. We want to help you start on this journey to study the Qurān, and we want to guide you along the way. We want to build a community that shares a love for the Qurān, and a life with it through tajweed and memorisation classes, Qurān circles and online content.
With some of the best reciters in the country often being men who have studied abroad, we want the best to be amongst women of the UK.
Being busy and being women are two widely perceived barriers to studying the Qurān, but we want to disprove this and bridge the gap between us and the book of Allah and inspire you to excel as women of the Qurān.

To be a person of the Qurān is to shift your perspective, and realise that the concept of time is determined by the barakah (blessing) that Allah bestows upon you. Committing to the Qurān is a matter of priorities, and if you prioritise the book of Allah you will come to see how perfectly it fits into your life. The Qurān is a not a disruption nor a distraction from your life, rather it is what completes it. If you prioritise the book of Allah, you will find in it your success in this world before the next.
