At Rettilee Al-Qurān, our goal is to provide a platform that brings Muslim women closer to the book of Allah SWT. As working professional women ourselves we know that being busy and being women are two widely perceived barriers to studying the Qurān, but we want to disprove this and bridge the gap between us and the book of Allah and inspire you to excel as women of the Qurān. With some of the most well-known reciters in the country often being men, we want our sisters to be amongst the best, and we want to show you that we can. 

We want to help you start on this journey to get to know the Qurān, and its value in our lives, and we want to guide you along the way. We want to provide this space to allow you to build on, and upon, your journey with the Quraan.

قال رسول الله ﷺ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ما اجتمع قوم في بيت من بيوت الله يتلون كتاب الله، ويتدارسونه بينهم، إلا نزلت عليهم السكينة، وغشيتهم الرحمة، وحفتهم الملائكة، وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده‏"‏.‏

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ  said: “Any group of people that assemble in one of the Houses of Allah to recite the Book of Allah, learning and teaching it, tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will engulf them, angels will surround them and Allah will make mention of them to those (the angels) in His proximity. [Muslim]

After a long day of working or studying, what better way to unwind than to spend your evening in the company of the words of Allah, in the hopes that we are written amongst those engulfed in His mercy SWT.
